Top 10 Universities for International Students Seeking Financial Aid
It is no surprise that the U.S. is a top destination for international students looking to study abroad. As a result, the U.S. hit a record high of 1,043,839 total international undergraduate and graduate students in 2016–2016, according to the Institute of International Education (IIE). However, though the U.S. is a top destination for education, it is also one of the costliest in terms of tuition.
Many international students are interested in studying abroad in the U.S. but cannot afford the expenses that come along with it. On average, tuition can range from $15,000–$60,000 (U.S. dollars) a year depending on the university’s status (private, public, community, or 4-year institution). Also, do not forget other costs such as transportation, textbooks, and additional fees that may apply. As a result of these costs, many international students are forced to reconsider their decision to study in the U.S.
But all is not lost—there are many universities that offer generous funding to international students.
